I recently visited the Walt Disney World Resort without kids (Yay!) and stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. My vacation was sort of last minute and the Deluxe Resort I had wanted didn’t have a room available. I hadn’t stayed at Coronado Springs in years so I decided to give it another try!
Upon check-in, my husband and I were upgraded to a King Bed Room. (We also received a complimentary champagne toast!) We had a beautiful view of the water from our room. I loved waking up to the peaceful scene!
Coronado Springs seems like a very big resort with the convention center located right there. It didn’t feel big to me! It was very quiet. Our room was close to the main building and to the bus stop.
We were able to refill our mugs and grab something quick at Pepper Market with ease! We also enjoyed a nightcap at Rix Lounge. The pool is Mayan themed and has a really cool water slide! Siestas Cantina is conveniently located so you can grab a bite to eat or something to drink while swimming the day away!
The location of Coronado Springs is great! It is considered an Epcot Resort but really it’s in a prime location – close to all of the theme parks! Bus rides to the parks took about 10-15 minutes. If you have a car, Coronado Springs is located along Buena Vista Drive, one of Disney’s main roads, making it very easy to get to where you wanted to go.
I was definitely impressed with Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and will be going back to visit. There is so much more I could explore, like the Maya Grill and the La Vida Health Club. Maybe an in-room massage my next visit?
