My family of 6, along with my mom & my aunt, stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Though this is a Disney Vacation Club Resort, it is open to the public to reserve for their Disney vacations, as well!
Inspired by historic Saratoga Springs—a late-1800s’ New York retreat famous for its spas and horse racing—this charming, Victorian-style Resort hotel is nestled between rolling golf course greens and the shimmering Village Lake. Saratoga Springs is the perfect resort, for families of ALL sizes! Accommodation options range from studios to multi-bedroom villas. Saratoga Springs also 2 main pools (with water slides), 3 leisure pools, aqua-play areas, Senses Spa & more! You can also explore the fun activities and exciting dining options of Disney Springs, just a 5 minute boat ride away!
While my mom & aunt enjoyed relaxing by the pool, my kids enjoyed the water slides & splash pad areas! My older 3 were able to take part in all the fun pool-side activities, such as pool parties, games & contests for resort guests! Not to mention, the evening campfire activities, outdoor movie screenings, ping pong, foosball, arts and crafts, video games, board games, basketball, tennis and shuffleboard… all complimentary! For additional costs, there are also bike rentals, fishing excursions and an arcade. So much to do at this resort, in addition to all the fun that’s expected at the parks!
In addition to Disney’s 4 theme parks, we also attended Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, for the 3rd time! Trick-or-treating, shows, parades, villains, fireworks & more!! We had so much fun dressing up! And this year’s Villain Spooktacular show included the Sanderson Sisters from the movie ‘Hocus Pocus!’ If you’re ever visiting Disney in the Fall, this is a must do!!
We had such an amazing time and had so much fun! It’s impossible to write about everything!
I’m so happy my mom was able to spend this quality time with my kids… they’re only little for so long!! And what better way to make those MAGICAL family memories with grandparents, than in Walt Disney World!
