1. All-New Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire is coming this summer to replace Dream Along with Mickey.
This summer, the all-new live stage show “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” will grace the grandest stage at Walt Disney World® Resort with magic, music and merriment! Against the majestic backdrop of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom® Park, Mickey Mouse and his friends will welcome favorite characters from some of Disney’s newest classics: “The Princess and the Frog," "Tangled" and "Frozen." In “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire,” Mickey and his troupe of Merry Makers have been preparing to host a joyous festival and have ventured far and wide to invite friends from other lands to join their celebration. From the Land of the Bewitching Bayous, Goofy has invited Tiana, Naveen and Louis to add a little spice of New Orleans jazz to the party. From the Land of the Enchanted Woods, Donald Duck brings some new friends he met at the Snuggly Duckling, and Daisy introduces us to her special guests, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Finally, Mickey shares a surprise with Minnie, as he has traveled to the Land of the Mystic Mountains to invite Olaf, Anna and Elsa, who contributes a blast of her icy magic. It all culminates in a grand dance, as the Merry Makers invite all their special guests to join in the fun on this special day in Magic Kingdom Park!
Marking the first appearances by Tiana and Rapunzel in a show on the castle stage, “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” brings to life beloved Disney stories both classic and contemporary in a spectacular performance featuring an original song, memorable music, lively dancing and special effects magic.
“Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” will make its debut in summer 2016!
We’re excited to share that the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival returns to Walt Disney World® Resort Sept. 14-Nov. 14, 2016. That means almost two additional weeks – from 53 days to 62 – of deliciousness, foodie fun, culinary events, celebrity chefs, seminars, music concerts and more.
The Food and Wine Festival is going to be Super Sized this year!!

A MASSIVE new Star Wars show is coming your way. This is what Disney has to say about it's new show that is making theme park history.!!
If there’s one word you could use to describe Star Wars – from the films and the excitement that surrounds them, to the loyal fandom – that word just might be “epic.” It also describes the exciting new offerings that are heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this spring.
Today, we’re happy to share that plans are currently in the works for a new Star Wars stage show and procession, as well as a nighttime spectacular so elaborate it’s set to make Disney’s Hollywood Studios history. Like I said, epic.
The Force will officially awaken at the park April 4, with the debut of the brand new Star Wars stage show, “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away.” The new show will play out iconic moments from the film saga on Center Stage (in front of the Chinese Theater), and will feature appearances from Star Wars characters like Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Darth Maul.
This made me very sad to hear that the mean Lady Tremaine and her 2 nasty, yet very funny, step daughters will no long be greeting guests in the Magic Kingdom. You can still see them at 1900 Park Fare for dinner.
Disney is trying to cut some operating expenses by cutting back the hours of some of their attractions. . Living with the Land and Journey into Imagination will both be closing at 7pm instead of closing. Mouse Gear with also have reduced operating hours. It will be open one hour after park opens and will stay open until closing. Agent P's World Showcase Adventure will now close at 6pm.
6. Share Your Ears
Disney Parks has announced that in celebration of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration, Disney parks will donate $5 to Make-A-Wish- up to $1 million` for every 'ear phone' you share on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ShareYourEars from now until March 14th. Help raise money for this wonderful organization by sharing your ears.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is once again hosting a new and exciting scavenger hunt type of game similar to the park’s old Wilderness Explorer game. The new Lion Guard Adventure sends both young and old explorers on a park-wide search for the five Lion Guard characters: Kion, the fierce leader of the Lion Guard; Bunga, a brave and fearless honey badger; Fuli, a confident cheetah; Beshte, a friendly and good-natured hippo; and Ono, an intellectual egret.
The guest then begins their search for the character statues hidden in themed locations throughout the park that represent each animal. At each stop, you snap a selfie with yourself and the character.
Once all five character traits are discovered, cast members at Rafiki’s Planet Watch officially induct you into the Lion Guard with a special pledge, some fun activities, and a Lion Guard Button naming them as honorary members. Rafiki will also the newest inductees for a picture.
The closure is to do to the addition of a third ride track which they now confirm will open Summer 2016.
Guests with FastPasses booked for the ride on March 15th will get a FastPass for a different attraction on that day.
What do you think about all of these changes that is happening?
