Disneyland has added another Magical show to Fantasyland. It's located right across from the "It's A Small World" ride.
Here's a quick summary: Mickey is the apprentice to Map Maker, Yen Sid. Mickey longs to be more than just an apprentice and decides to prove he's ready by finishing the map himself. As Mickey works hard to finish the map an unpainted spot comes to life and gives Mickey a challenge! The spot takes Mickey on some adventures around the World. The first stop is in the Jungle Book with King Louie. The two of them carry on their adventure to The Americas with Pocahontas, China with Mulan and Germany with Rapunzel. The three end with a trio of their self reflective songs. Then an up beat Sebastian brings out his fun song Under the Sea!
Mickey struggles to finish painting the map and comes to realize that maybe this stubborn spot does not want to be painted. Yen Sid returns confirming Mickey's discovery and he says "The map will never be finished so long as there is imagination in the world." Mickey then takes a couple more adventures in New Orleans with Princess Tiana and through the waves of Hawaii while dancers move to "Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride".
The show was such a great addition to Fantasyland and definitely a must see! It was upbeat and a good-feeling show! I can't wait to see it again! Check with your Dream Maker for the show times while you are visiting the park.
