Hello, my name is Rae Bowen. I live in Georgia. I was born here, but have lived in Alaska, Texas and Las Vegas. I am married and we have five daughters combined, two daughters of my own and three bonus daughters. Our life is full of laughter.
My love of travel started when we lived in Las Vegas and we would take road trips to the desert, California, Washington, all over the west coast. My mom was pretty much a nomad. Travel is my lifeblood. I have traveled all over the United States and Mexico, also Disney and Universal several times a year. I love to experience new cultures and new foods. Art museums are my favorite places to go wherever I am.
My favorite travel destinations (so far) are San Francisco, New Orleans (best food I have ever had), Cayman Islands and, of course, Disney. The UK and Amsterdam are next on my list.
My first trip to Disney was 14 years ago and I have been back every year since. Epcot continues to be my favorite park to visit. My girls and I made an annual trek and cultivated the perfect trip. We have now incorporated our new family dynamic and made more Disney lovers out of them. Over the years I have learned several tips and tricks to make a Disney vacation simple, organized and fun. Whether traveling with toddlers, tweens, teens or no kids at all, I have done it all. Any Disney experience feeds my soul. Disney really is home.
I am a published author with another book in the works, I have a degree in Art History I love to read and I am a want-to-be gardener (all I can successfully grow is jalapenos).
