Did you know that Palo is named after the long poles used by gondoliers in Venice? Now you know!
The Brunch menu has changed and I will share that in a moment, but just in case you are not familiar with Palo. Here is a quick overview: Palo is an adults only restaurant on each Disney ship. The cuisine is Northern Italian with a modern twist aka DELICOUS!! The cost is $30 per adult for the lunch (on cruises 4 nights or more) or dinner (all cruises) -- it is well worth every penny! It's a great treat while the kids are enjoying time away at one of the Kids Clubs! A printed Palo Brunch menu has been released by Disney Cruise Line. The new menu is posted outside Palo and copies will be handed out at your table for ordering of the a la carte brunch items. The tables featuring all the treats such as breakfast pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, caviar, seafood, and desserts are all still there. There will no longer be samples of the a la carte options on display but the detailed menu description and the amazing servers are there to help! Your Dream Maker can set up your Palo reservation, just let them know it's a must do for you! If you haven't booked your dream Disney Cruise yet, let me know and I'll be glad to help you! It has changed in recent years, so I'd like to share with you the most up to date information.
Any wine or champagne in excess of 2 bottles or beer in excess of 6 beers Any liquors or spirits (including powdered alcohol) Guest MUST retrieve any stored alcohol at the end of the cruise. Items not retrieved will be destroyed and no compensation will be offered. It is also important to note that alcohol brought on board may not be consumed in any lounge or public area. Guests wishing to consume wine or champagne that they have brought on board in one of the dining rooms will be charged a corking fee of $25.00 per bottle. Please note that the Disney Cruise Line alcohol policy is subject to change without notice. Jen Morrison [email protected] www.mickeysdreamvacations.com www.facebook.com/MickeysDreamVacationsByJen www.twitter.com/mdvbyjen www.pinterest.com/mdvbyjen My family and I recently took an amazing vacation on the Disney Magic. It was a 4 night Bahamas sailing that took us to Castaway Cay, Nassau and had a day at sea. While we loved the islands we had the best time on our sea day. We got to sleep in, meet some characters, hang by the pool and eat ice cream all day!
When I asked my boys what their favorite part of the cruise was they said it was the pool and the ice cream. My favorite was the yummy Pina Colava drinks! We had the whole day on the ship while it sailed around the Bahamas. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky. My older son took a ride on the Aquadunk while my youngest braved the twist and spout slide. My husband and I even had some adult time while the kids went in the kids club! We enjoyed the adult pool and some much needed relaxation. It was great not having anything scheduled or anywhere to be until dinner that night, we loved our fun day at sea! “Take Vacations, go as many places as you can. You can always make money, you can’t always make memories.” Let us help you make some memories. Meg Kinnerk Owner-Mickey’s Dream Vacations [email protected] 773-779-1978 I recently got back from a Disney cruise on the new Dream. I was lucky enough to stay in a Concierge Verandah stateroom. The concierge came with so many awesome amenities! We did the 3 night Bahamas sailing that has stops in Nassau and Castaway Cay on May 9th. Castaway by far is my favorite island I have ever been to. I was with my husband, 11 yr old and 3 yr old son. My mom also came with us. We had such a great time we booked another cruise on board while we were there! Our room had a queen size bed, pull out sofa and pull down bed. The bathroom was a split bath with shower/tub in one and toilet in the other. There is so much to do on the ship that we didn't get off in Nassau. There is the Aqua Duck that my older son Michael (KidDisney.com) rode about 35 times. Castaway Cay was a dream come true. Disney really does everything right. When I booked our cruise it was sort of last min and all the private cabanas were booked. When I got on board I asked the concierge team and they got me one! Wow is all I can say, it was worth every penny! You basically have your own private beach right out front of the cabana. It’s fully stocked with very nice towels, sunscreen, water, pop and snacks. Plus you get your own butler service that will bring you whatever you ask for! It was great to have a place for the kids to play in the sand out front while we sit in the shade. Ryan and Grandma Patty even took a nap on the couch in the cabana. You get your own private hammock and shower to wash the sand off. They gave the kids sand toys to play with too! Every detail is taken care of. When you rent the cabana you also get the bike rentals, snorkel gear and tube rental with it. It’s all right there at the cabana for you too! So convenient.
My kids both enjoyed the shows and the pirate party. The fireworks on the ship were awesome! By staying in a Concierge stateroom we got some extra perks:
I can’t wait to help you plan your family's next Disney Cruise! Making all your vacation dreams come true
